ASIPI celebrates academic session together with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá

On October 31st, ASIPI in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB), held an Academic Session Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement at the headquarters of the CCB in Bogotá, Colombia.

The academic program of the activity focused on alternative dispute resolution systems regarding Intellectual Property, evaluating the advantages they offer, as well as some precautions and general recommendations at the time of their use.

Mr. Fernando Triana, Former President of ASIPI, served as a direct link between both entities, in order to successfully celebrate the event. Similary, Ms. Mary Fernández, President of ASIPI’s Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration Committee, addressed the introductory part of the activity through a distance presentation. The event also had the attendance of Dr. Alfredo Revelo and Dr. José Octavio Zuluaga, National Arbitrators and Conciliators of the CCB; of Dr. Sandra Romero, Conciliator of the CCB and of Dr. Camilo Suárez, Associate of the firm Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferro DY & Uruía, whom participated as speakers.

The activity turned out to be extremely successful, with the attendance of more than 150 participants.
