On November 15^th and 16^th in Paraguay, the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), held an International Seminar on Mediation; in collaboration with the Supreme Court of Justice of Paraguay, represented by the Department of Intellectual Property Rights and the Department of Mediation.

The event had the opening remarks of the Minister of the SCJ, Dr. Gladys Bareiro de Modica and Raquel Toñánez as Principal Delegate of ASIPI in Paraguay. The SCJ auditorium received approximately 70 people each day, a public composed of lawyers members of ASIPI, judicial mediators, judges, fiscal agents and students.

The participants cataloged the event as a resounding success, and celebrated the initiative of ASIPI and the SCJ to create these seminars that assists  the necessary and constant training of professionals.

This activity arises within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement signed between ASIPI and the Supreme Court of Justice of Paraguay, through which both entities intend to join forces to promote academic preparation in Intellectual Property.
