ASIPI was present at the 36th ECTA Annual Conference, held in Budapest, Hungary, from June 28 to July 1, 2017. Maria del Pilar Troncoso, President of ASIPI, participated in the event in representation of the Association.

During the event, María del Pilar Troncoso had the opportunity to meet with ECTA President, Ruta Olmane, with Sozos-Christos Theoloudou, First Vice-President of the Executive Committee in order to discuss the relationship between ASIPI and ECTA.

The academic agenda of the event covered relevant and current issues in the field of trademarks from an European perspective.

The meeting served to strengthen the ties between both institutions, as well as to evaluate future projects as a whole.
