Curriculum Vitae

Graduated in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama. He also has a Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate in Mediation and Studies in International Relations and Procedural Law from the same institution. In the field of intellectual property, he has a specialization granted by the Comparative Law Center of Kyoto, Japan and a Postgraduate Diploma in Copyright and Related Rights at the University of Mérida, Venezuela.
With more than 30 years of work at the service for the administration of justice, he has held positions such as Senior Special Prosecutor Specialized in Drug Related Crimes, Specialized Superior Prosecutor in Crimes against Intellectual Property and Computer Security, Specialized Superior Prosecutor against Organized Crime, Director of the Judicial Technical Police, Director of the Directorate of Judicial Investigation of the National Police, Attorney General of the Nation (2011-2012) and, at present, he is Judge of the Second Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court and has been reelected President Judge of said corporation of justice.
He has been a lecturer and participant in numerous and diverse seminars at a national and international level related to organized crime, international drug trafficking, intellectual property, Accusatory Criminal System, Environmental Law, among others.
In the academic field, he has been Professor of the Intellectual Law course at the Universidad del Istmo and the course of Copyright and Related Rights at the Santamaría La Antigua University.
