The Executive Committee of the Association actively participated in the 8th International Meeting of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI) that took place from March 27 to 29 in Mexico City.

Elisabeth Siemsen, President of ASIPI, was present at the opening table of the event, our Treasurer, Matías Noetinger, moderated the panel of Ambush Marketing, Marco Palacios, Director 3, moderated the panel on Cybersecurity in the Environment of Artificial Intelligence and Enrique Díaz, Vice President 1 of ASIPI, the panel on Legal Marketing for Law Firms.

During this event, the Executive Committee of ASIPI had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Juan Lozano Tovar, General Director of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and officials of the Institute, to discuss projects of mutual interest in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both entities in 2012. Thanks to this agreement, throughout these years there has been a very good communication and cooperation, and ASIPI and IMPI are interested that this continue this way in the future.
