On July 5, our Treasurer Matías Noetinger participated as a panelist representing ASIPI in the International Seminar organized by INPI and WIPO entitled “PCT – The Relevance of the Patent Cooperation Treaty in 2019 – Year of Export”, in the Chamber of Medium Enterprise in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

On this occasion, he referred to the disadvantages suffered by businessmen and people of Argentina for not being a member country of the PCT, when trying to protect their inventions abroad. He also mentioned the WIPO Inventor Assistance Program, which facilitates inventors and small business to access a patent professional when they do not have economic means, pointing out that ASIPI is a sponsor of this program and that it participated in its international launch in the year 2016.
