ASIPI, represented by Mr. Christian Duran, participated in the last audit of the “Stakeholder Quality Assurance Panels Project (SQAP)” of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), held from 3 to 5 October, in Alicante, Spain.

In this meeting participated 19 auditors representing 12 associations, in order to examine 57 decisions of the oppositions division,  according to the quality criteria of The Office.

These audits are part of the Strategic Plan 2020 of EUIPO, where it seeks to improve the quality of the services offered to users.

The constant participation of ASIPI in the events of EUIPO denotes the close collaboration of both entities. The Office and our Association are in talks in order to coordinate new academic activities for the next period.
