Geographical Indication, a Sustainable Territorial Tool: Economic, Cultural and Environmental Aspects

This workshop will allow its attendees to understand the particularities of a Geographical Indication and its exploitation, as an essential tool to increase the economic development of the communities that have a unique added value in their region.

By following the path of the virtuous circle proposed by Vandecandelaere, Arfini, Belletti and Marescotti, the impulse of these initiatives under a territorial logic will be better understood, allowing the sustainability of the initiatives, that is to say, guarantees in addition to economic profitability, participants and caring for the environment, through a practical case, successful in the international arena.
