Andrés Rincón

Andres is a partner with Cavelier Abogados in Bogota, Colombia, where he leads the Patents & Life Sciences practice. LLB from Universidad Javeriana, with post graduate studies inIP from Universidad Externado de Colombia and an LLM in IP from Max Planck Institute and George Washington University through the MunichIntellectual Property Law Center program in Germany. With more than 20 years’ experience, he deals with drafting, prosecution and litigation affairs for validity and infringement in various fields of technology, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and software-implemented inventions, as well as having practical experience in both plant breeder rights and industrial designs.
