She got her degree in Law from the Universidad Internacional de las Americas and completed her Master studies in Intellectual Property from the Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica (UNED). During twelve years she served as Director of the Department of Intellectual Property and Sanitary Registries of a Central American Law Firm, being in charge of the Directorate of the department for the entire Central America region. She has been a founding partner of the firm LegalPrint Law since 2014, where she represents important portfolios of national and foreign clients, mainly in the areas of Intellectual Property, Sanitary Registries and Regulatory Law.
She is part of the Intellectual Property Commission of the Costa Rican Bar Association. Member of the Association of Intellectual Property Professionals of Costa Rica. Since 2006 she has been an active member of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property ASIPI, and was the National Delegate of said Association for Costa Rica. She is also an active member of the International Trademark Association INTA. She has served as speaker at various local and international seminars and has given various continuing legal education courses to local lawyers, as well as talks and courses related to Intellectual Property to Costa Rican entrepreneurs and businessmen.
