Professor for more than 22 years with the category of national researcher by the National Council of Science and Technology (Mexico) for 13 years.
Specialist in global value chains, rural territorial development and appellations of origin.
Coordinator of several books on value chains, appellations of origin, author of multiple book chapters, as well as scientific and popular articles. Director of doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s thesis on these topics.
Coordinator of several research projects on appellations of origin, as well as on value chains. Participant in the ERASMUS + SUS-TER project funded by the European Union on territorial development with cultural identity.
Founding member of the Latin American Network of Researchers in Global Chains of Goods (REDILACG).
