Políticas Públicas Que Fomentan El Uso Y Registro De Denominaciones De Origen, Indicaciones Geográficas, Marcas De Certificación Y Las Marcas Colectivas En Chile

This article deals with the origin of appellations of origin, geographical indications, collective and certification marks in Chilean industrial property law; the purpose of these industrial property rights and public policies that encourage its use and registration, specially the creation of “Seal of Origin” program as a joint initiative between the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism and the National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) in order to promote the use and protection of Chilean products through these legal tools.
