It is very pleasant for the undersigned, in my capacity as President of ASIPI, to present to you volume No. 16 of the “Intellectual Rights” collection, which has been published for more than two decades. “Intellectual Rights” is an instrument of the greatest importance for professionals, researchers and those interested in intellectual property issues and throughout the different volumes of the collection the changes and innovations that have occurred in this area have been reflected, as well as the evolution that intellectual property has registered in accordance with advances in science, technology and
the innovation. The globalization of our society has allowed transcendental challenges and challenges to be detected and faced that have resulted in the permanent defense of rights and in the strict classification of the legal and social commitments and obligations of our peoples.- Fernando Triana
