This webinar took place on July 24, 2019. It addressed a current topic about the approval of the new Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market in the European Union.
One of the main novelties that the referred Directive brings is a new approach in the regime of responsibility of the ISPs for infractions committed to the intellectual property, that contains important differences with the foreseen in the Directive 2000/31 / CE (Directive of Electronic Commerce). Speakers will start from the normative evolution that has taken place in this regard, until reaching the new principles that support the determination of responsibilities of the ISPs according to the recently approved Directive.
