In this fourth and last webinar, a brief introduction of the current situation regarding protection of genetic resources in Latin America will be presented. How genetic resources are protected from the existing intellectual property legal frame work in Latin America and challenges related thereto will be discussed. Conventional issues and some recent updates on such legal frame work will be shared.
