This session will address the interaction between IP strategy and business development; the panel will be formed by angel investors and start-up technology companies’ representatives, companies that are normally in search for seed money or liquidity for growth. The panelists will review the challenges faced by start-up companies when seeking to protect their IP and the importance, from the perspective of the investors, for a proper IP administration and protection in order to ensure the exclusivity level required to take the investing risk and to foresee a clearer path to recover investment -departing from those exclusive rights-.
