Prior to joining TIMES Attorneys, Alesch Staehelin spent 11 years with IBM in a variety of international roles as a corporate lawyer (Lead Counsel Research Europe, Lead Counsel Maintenance Services Europe, Lead Counsel Outsourcing & Technology Services DACH, Global Core Team IP & Competition Law, etc.). Before IBM, he worked 8 years as an attorney in leading Swiss law firms, focusing on IP/IT, data protection, media/entertainment and competition law.

As Digital Lawyer & Counsel (DLC)®, Alesch frequently speaks and writes on Technology & IP related legal issues. He studied at the UCLA School of Law (LL.M.), the City University of New York and the University of Zurich School of Law (Dr. iur.).
