Graduated from Medicine at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Santo Domingo. Parallel to her studies, she developed a broad career in communication media, being in charge of leading important panel programs and sharing that responsibility with leading figures of Dominican journalism.

In 1996, she assumed the position of Vice Minister of the Press, being responsible for the design and implementation of the audiovisual policy of the government, including the installation of the first television studio in the Palace of the Dominican Republic, designated in honor of Orlando Martinez.

In 2000, she retired to private practice, resuming the course of her medical career, with emphasis on health, social security and financial policy expenses.

Member of the work team of the current President, Danilo Medina Sanchez, is appointed as General Director of the National Office of Industrial Property (ONAPI) in October 2014.
