Vice President and Global Head of IP Affairs for Novartis, a global healthcare company headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. Based in the Company’s Washington DC office, Corey leads a cross-divisional global function responsible for defining and developing the Company’s core positions and directing and implementing its global advocacy efforts with respect to intellectual property (IP) law and policy, and issues at the intersection of IP, innovation, and global access. A graduate of Yale University and Stanford Law School, Corey has over 15 years of experience practicing law in the areas of IP, IP Policy, media and technology. Prior to joining Novartis, Corey was an IP litigator in private practice, where he represented and advised clients across a range of different industries.
