Elio De Tullio is Managing Partner of De Tullio & Partners, Intellectual Property Law Firm. He is specialized in providing tailor-made services for supporting and assisting right holders – in particular SMEs – in developing a proper IP asset management strategy (preliminary assessment, filing, prosecution, monitoring, enforcement, litigation).
Attorney-at-Law specialized in Intellectual Property matters, he has been admitted to the Bar in Italy since 1994 and he is registered at EUIPO as European and Italian Trade Mark & Design Attorney since 2005.
He is Director of the Italy-Argentina Chamber of Commerce (CaCIA) and Advisor of the Italy- Cuba and Dominican Republic Chamber of Commerce.
Elio De Tullio represents the International Trademark Association (INTA) as expert in the working groups set up by EUIPO for supporting the activities of the EU Observatory on infringements of IPRs and Chair of the related Task Force. He is the Italian member of the IP Commission of ICC and Chair of the Task Force on IP Infringement on the Internet; he is also active member of the Law Committee at ECTA and Geographical Indications Committee at AIPPI.
He cooperates as an expert with WIPO and European Commission and represents the EU-China IPR SME Helpdesk and the EU-Asean IPR SME Helpdesk in the European Union.
Elio De Tullio is a frequent speaker and lecturer in Intellectual Property matters at several Universities (i.e. University of Rome La Sapienza, Politecnico of Milan, University of Bologna Alma Mater, University of Bari, Second University of Naples, Universitas Mercatorum).
He is also author of numerous publications and articles on IP protection and enforcement. Among others, he was coordinator and main author of the publication “The intangible wealth” published in 2011 by RAIZONE – ERI and co-author of the UTET Commentary on Italian and European IP Law.
