Carlos Alberto is a partner at Falconi Puig Abogados, with more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property, advertising, commercial and litigation law.
In his Intellectual Property practice related to genetic resources, in 2014 he led the legal and technical team, formed by the Republic of Ecuador to: design the protocols and procedures, structure the model contract and negotiate the first case of access to genetic resources in the country by Yale University “Tests of degradation of polyester polyurethane by the fungus Pestalotiopsis microspora ecuadorian endophyte strain E2712A.”
Since 2005 he has been a professor of intellectual property in several universities in the country at pregraduate and postgraduate level. As well as speaker in several international congresses on Intellectual Property.
