Jordi Güell is the founder of GUELL IP, an IP boutique in Barcelona (Spain). Jordi holds an LLM from the University of Barcelona, specializing in Intellectual Property and Unfair Competition. He is also a recorded Patent and Trademark Attorney. Jordi is the Treasurer General of ECTA and Member of its Board of Directors since 2019. He is currently a professor of IP law at the Magister Lvcentinus in Alicante and at the post-graduate degree of the Barcelona Bar Association. He is a Member of the INTA Trademark Reporter Committee and, since 2013, is the co-author of the INTA. Annual Review of European case law. From 2011 to 2015 he served as a Member of the Board of the Spanish AIPPI Group and is currently an active member in the Standing Committee on Piracy and Counterfeiting of AIPPI International. He is an Official Certified Translator-Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Jordi has given presentations in many international events, both in Spain and abroad, and has published numerous articles on IP law.
