Lawyer from Universidad de Lima and Master in Global Business Management from Universidad del Pacífico.
He has been Vice Minister of Foreign Trade of Peru, leading the processes of opening markets with the United States, Chile, Mexico, Singapore, EFTA, Canada, China and the European Union and the promotion of Peruvian exports.
He was in charge of the negotiation of Intellectual Property in the FTA of Peru with the United States, as well as in negotiations of the Andean Community, the FTAA and other international forums.
He has presided over the Intellectual Property Chamber of the INDECOPI Court, and directed the Trademark and Patent Offices of said public entity.
He has been Senior Partner of Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie, having led the Intellectual Property, International Trade and Life Sciences teams.
