On September 5, it took place a Seminar entitled “New Look at the Law of Trademarks in its Civil and Criminal Perspective” in Chile, which addressed the legal scope of the creation of the crime of trademark counterfeiting, as well as a new modality of pre-established compensation in case of falsification and that are part of the modifications to Law 19.039 on Industrial Property and that is being processed in the Chilean Congress.

This seminar was organized by ASIPI through its delegates Carmen Paz Álvarez and Flavio Belair and the Central University and was attended by Andrés Grunewaldt, member of ASIPI and Gonzalo Álvarez Seura, Postgraduate and Continuing Education Director of the Law School and Social Work of the Central University of Chile.
