Seminar: Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property in the Andean Community in Peru

On December 6 and 7, the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) together with the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Technological University of Peru (UTP), with the participation of the General Secretary of the Andean Community (SGCAN) and the Court of Justice of the Andean Community (TJCAN) held the seminar “Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property in the Andean Community”. In the seminar topics such as relevant judicial interpretations in the field of intellectual property, non-traditional trademarks, protection of three-dimensional signs, geographical indications, copyright on architectural works, Marca Pais, among others.

The event was attended by Mr. José Luis Londoño and Iris Gunther of INTA; Judge Hugo Gómez Apac of the Court of the Andean Community; Ivo Gagliuffi, president of the Board of Directors of INDECOPI, among other institutional authorities. Our Director Juli Gutierrez Zanelli participated for ASIPI.
