Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile. He holds a Master in Law (LLM) from Duke University, United States (Scholar by the Government of Chile); a Master in Law from the University of Valencia, Spain (Scholar by the Government of Spain); and a Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Chile.
He is an Arbitrator of NIC Chile in the .CL Domain Dispute Resolution System.
He is Director of the Chilean Association of Intellectual Property (ACHIPI), and is currently a member of law firm Silva Abogados, where he leads the litigation area.
He drafted the section on intellectual and industrial property crimes of the Criminal Code of 2014 draft, and is apostgraduate professor at the Catholic University and the University of Development.
