On September 23rd, María del Pilar Troncoso, in her capacity of former President of ASIPI’s Executive Committee, represented the Association in a visit to Dr. Salvador Ramos, the new Director of the National Office of Intellectual Property (ONAPI) of Dominican Republic.

In this meeting, Mary Fernández and Ana Isabel Messina, National Delegates of ASIPI for Dominican Republic also participated; as well as other officials of ONAPI.

María del Pilar Troncoso made a formal presentation of the mission and objectives of ASIPI, its Working Committees and its current projects. Likewise, she made a formal presentation to Dr. Ramos of the last edition of the Trademark Impact Study carried out by the Association in collaboration with INTA.

In this meeting, ASIPI’s interest in maintaining and strengthening the existing collaboration with ONAPI until this moment was renewed; as well as its willingness to collaborate with this office, especially with all its material and educational initiatives.
