Introduction to Personal Data Protection

In an increasingly digitized world, personal data is considered the raw material of the global ecosystem, and therefore, the right to protect personal information has become a key aspect to be taken into account by individuals and companies. This legal support helps, on the one hand, to guarantee the privacy of individuals and, on the other hand, to promote the economic development of today's society.
Nowadays, there are companies with large volumes of data, among which an immense amount of personal data forms an important part of their intangible assets. This makes compliance with personal data protection regulations essential for proper and correct business management.
Data breaches can have very serious consequences for companies, including loss of customer and user trust, large regulatory fines, and often irreparable damage to brand reputation.
It is essential that decisions are informed and responsible in the handling of personal information, both at the personal and professional levels.
