Geographical Indications and Appellations of Origin – Part II

The comprehensive course on Geographical Indications and Appellations of Origin (GI/AO) is offered in two parts and aims to provide participants from various disciplines with essential practical and legal knowledge related to these legal figures of industrial property.
Through an approach focused on in-depth legal understanding, practical application, and multidisciplinary collaboration, participants will delve into the analysis of successful global experiences, developing practical strategies for the development, promotion, and commercialization of products under GI/AO.

1. Develop a solid understanding of the international legal foundations underpinning GI/AO, providing participants with in-depth knowledge of its legal framework.
2. Train participants in practical business development strategies for GI/AO products, incorporating economic analysis and successful business models.
