Derechos-Intelectuales-4.pdf
The publication of the fourth issue of Intellectual Rights suggests some reflections. We believe that the creation of this Collection could not have been more timely, since in recent years the issues related to the protection of intellectual property have been receiving increasing attention. This is due to various reasons. On the one hand, historians and economists have been able to corroborate, on the basis of recent research, the close link between the development of the economy and the existence of a solid system for the protection of intellectual rights. It is no longer debatable that the lack of such protection generates disinvestment and, as a consequence, unemployment, stagnation and emigration of the workforce intellectually trained to carry out technological innovation. – Oscar Etcheverry
