The objective of this webinar, which took place on July 23rd, was to show the regulatory progress in Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico and learn how measure the pulse in the region.
The speakers were Maritza Reategui from Peru, Viviana Cervieri from Uruguay and Guillermo Carey from Chile and the moderator was Armando Arenas from Mexico.
It was concluded that the expectation to know the regulation of cannabis in Latin America is to take into consideration and reflects the efforts that have been made in the region to promote the debate of the recreational, medical and industrial use of cannabis and its derivatives. The webinar was very useful to know and discuss the current panorama in the region and the need to carry out a second webinar to know the effects in the regulated markets and that is required for its consolidation.
