The effective implementation of public policies that promote innovation ecosystems is crucial to transforming “aspirations” into tangible development. This panel will highlight the importance of formulating feasible public policies and comparative experiences on practical, coherent, and enforceable approaches, accompanied by the appropriate development of regulatory frameworks that incorporate the adequate incentives (including fiscal and intellectual property protection) to encourage risk-taking in pursuit of innovation. The session will explore positive experiences from various regions of the world and Latin America and discuss the impact of different public policies and opportunities for regulatory improvement to drive innovation in the region.
