Laura Valverde

Laura Valverde has been a Senior Associate at Facio & Cañas, Costa Rica, since 2017 and has
professional experience in the area of intellectual property for more than 10 years. She obtained her LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center of the Max Planck Institute.

Within Facio & Cañas, she leads the Intellectual Property and Lifescience division, where she has advised different local and international clients on intellectual property and regulatory law procedures. She has also followed closely the legislative advances in Costa Rica on Cannabis for medicinal and therapeutic uses.
