I am a co-head of the Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice areas of Osterling Abogados. I advise an important portfolio of national and foreign clients on trademark, patent, consumer protection, unfair competition, advertising, health regulation and clinical trials. At the same time, I am a leading specialist in fashion law. I also have significant experience in administrative law and transport and telecommunications law.

I provide comprehensive advice on the registration, protection and defence of trademarks, patents, copyrights and domain names, and on administrative proceedings before the Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual ꟷ Indecopi (National Institute for the Defence of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property ꟷ Indecopi). My practice includes legal advice on advertising regulation, particularly in comparative and commercial advertising. On the litigation side, I handle complex litigation on trademark disputes, unfair competition and counterfeiting.

I have extensive knowledge of the regulations for obtaining authorisations and sanitary registrations, both
for food and beverages and for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and veterinary products, test data protection and product labelling. I frequently represents clients in proceedings before the Dirección General de Fiscalización en Salud Ambiental e Inocuidad Alimentaria – Digesa.

I also advise leading pharmaceutical laboratories on the conduct of clinical trials within the framework of
current legislation.

In the field of fashion law, I represent leading brands in the fashion industry, such as Armani, Yves Saint
Laurent and L’Oreal, among others.

My practice also covers the processing and obtaining of authorisations for transport infrastructure,
broadcasting licences and building permits.
