Danilo Rodriguez Villamil is an attorney and partner in the Intellectual Property Department at Espino Nieto since 1994. He has worked on trademark, patent, and copyright matters, including advice on matters related to data protection, industrial secrets, confidentiality agreements, and electronic contracting. He also serves as legal counsel to domestic and international companies on intellectual property and new technologies, including litigation regarding IP rights violations. He is a professor of intellectual property and fundamentals of new technologies at the School of Economics and Business (ESEN) and a graduate professor at ISEADE/FEPADE. He is an authorized arbitrator at the Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador.

Among its training programs are the Advanced Distance Learning Course on Software Licensing, including Open Source Software, from April to July 2020, offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The Postgraduate Course on New Technology Law (ISEADE-FEPADE), training on “The WTO Dispute Settlement System” organized by the World Trade Organization and the Government of the Kingdom of Spain. Visitor and Professional Training Program offered by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
