Marc Sedam is Vice President of Technology Opportunities & Ventures at New York University, where he leads the commercialization of intellectual property across NYU’s campuses, including its top-ranked medical school. He oversees one of the nation’s highest-performing tech transfer offices.

Previously, he served as Vice Provost for Innovation and New Ventures at the University of New Hampshire, where he founded the entrepreneurship center, led the NSF I-Corps Site, and helped UNH achieve a top-ten national ranking for innovation impact among mid-sized universities.

Marc has held leadership roles at Qualyst, a university spinout, and at UNC-Chapel Hill. He currently advises Ferocity Capital and has held national leadership positions with the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), including service as Chair in 2020.

He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
