José Roberto Rodríguez

CEO – CoreNest Accelerator El Salvador José Roberto is a prominent Latin American leader in innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. He currently serves as the CEO of CoreNest Accelerator in El Salvador the country’s first venture capital-backed accelerator with a vision to position El Salvador as Latin America’s next innovation epicenter.

With over a decade of experience, he has led high-impact economic and digital transformation initiatives across the region, working with international agencies, governments, and corporate partners. He co-founded Impact Hub San Salvador, where he helped grow over 750 startups, generate $5M+ in sales, and create hundreds of jobs through innovation programs and public-private alliances.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Project Management from EAE Business School (Barcelona), and is an alumnus of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). He also founded SayHello, a strategic innovation agency, and has worked as a consultant for the IFC (World Bank Group).

Today, he is leading the design and launch of El Salvador’s first structured venture fund, building a platform that connects startups with capital, innovation, and global scaling opportunities.
