José Roberto Romero

Dr. José Matías Delgado University in El Salvador, from where he graduated, sparked Jose Roberto’s interest in the intangible rights of companies, which led him to study a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at the now called Franklin Pierce School of Law. His professional experience as a Lawyer and Notary Public accrues more than 30 years, during which he has represented global corporations and multi-Latin companies in the protection, defense, advise, enforcement and monetization of its intellectual property rights.

He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Romero Pineda & Asociados, a Salvadoran law firm with 45 years in the market. For 10 years he was ranked by Chambers & Partners in Band 1 of Intellectual Property Lawyers and in the last 5 years his ranking is: “Eminent
Practitioner”. He joined ASIPI in 1986 and is National Delegate for El Salvador in ASIPI for 2023-2025.
