Juan Manuel Contreras

Juan Manuel Contreras, Ph.D., is the co-founder and CEO of Aymara, which develops tools for enterprises to measure and improve the security of their generative AI. He has more than 10 years of experience in AI, most recently as a data science team leader on Uber’s legal team, where he worked at the intersection of AI and law. He has written on legal data science for ACC Docket.
Before his professional career, Juan Manuel earned his Ph.D. and A.M. in cognitive neuroscience from Harvard University, and his A.B. in social psychology from Princeton University. He is Bolivian-American.
