This webinar held on August 13th had the purpose of highlighting to all ASIPI members and other attendees, the importance of achieving equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects in our workplaces (regardless of whether they are companies or law firms).
We had the participation as speakers of Mariana Noli (Founder of NOLI IP SOLUTIONS, PC), Elyssa Lefevre Chayo (Director of FIRM FORWARD LLP.), Sharon Glacz (Director of Syndication Licensing and Business Affairs at NBC Entertainment) and Monique Ferrer C. (Partner of the firm ALFARO, FERRER & RAMIREZ - AFRA)
The purpose of the Webinar was to have an open conversation to explore the need for all corporate legal teams as well as law firms to begin to take a step forward and face the challenges necessary to achieve an inclusive, diverse and equitable work environment for all its members and collaborators. Ideas and initiatives on practices to be evaluated and implemented were shared, based on real life experiences of current legal teams, as well as an extensive list of resources for further research and knowledge on this topic.
