Blood Donation: A Small Act That Saves Lives
We will host a blood drive coordinated by Fundación Hemocentro Buenos Aires, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting voluntary, regular, and unpaid blood donation.
Donating is simple, safe, and only takes a few minutes. The blood drive will take place in a specially prepared room within the hotel. We invite all attendees who meet the eligibility criteria to join this meaningful initiative.
Main requirements:
- Be between 16 and 65 years old
- Weigh more than 50 kg (110 lbs)
- Be in good health
- Have a normal breakfast before donating
- No tattoos, piercings, or minor surgeries in the past 6 months
- No endoscopy or colonoscopy in the past year
- No high-risk sexual behavior in the past year
- No use of injectable illegal drugs
- Must not have or have had HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B or C, Chagas disease, syphilis, brucellosis, or HTLV I/II
