Cristian Daniel Bittel joined Marval, O’Farrell Mairal in 2004 and was appointed partner in 2016. He is currently a member of the Intellectual Property Department, with a specialization in Patents. His areas of expertise include biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. Before joining the Firm, he was a fellow of CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical Research) at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Rosario. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the National University of Rosario in 1996 and then completed three postgraduate studies: a PhD in Biological Sciences at the same university, a specialization in Environmental Management at the Universidad Católica Argentina and a third in Industrial Property from Universidad Pompeu Fabra/INPI. Cristian was a professor of Biology at the National University of Rosario and has written articles in his area of practice. He is also a professor in postgraduate courses at the University of San Andrés and at the Austral University.
