Rosalía is an attorney at law specialized in IP and a Spanish patent and trademark attorney member of OAPI. After holding executive positions in multinational companies within the sector, she founded her own firm, Ballester IP, in Alicante in 2005. For over two decades, she has assisted both local and international businesses on the comprehensive prosecution and enforcement of their IP rights.
In 2012, she founded Interty, a global association of more than 50 IP firms worldwide, aimed at fostering cooperation among its members through the exchange of information on IP.
Rosalía is an active member of INTA, ASIPI, AIPPI, and LES, and regularly participates in leading IP conferences. She currently represents ASIPI before the EUIPO, contributes to INTA’s Famous and Well-Known Marks subcommittee, and acts as secretary for the IP Networking Committee of LES Spain-Portugal. She has also delivered guest lectures on IP at the University of Alicante and the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid.
Her professional work, along with that of her team, has been recognized since 2018 by prestigious publications such as WTR1000, IAM Patent, and IP Stars.
