Lawyer and Notary with more than 20 years of professional practice. She holds a Master’s Degree in Digital Risks and Cybersecurity from EALDE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and has pursued Master’s studies in Commercial Law and Competitiveness at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. She has extensive private practice experience in renowned law firms, as well as in multinational companies, having served as Director of Anti-Piracy for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean for FOX Networks Group Latin America for six years. Following the acquisition of FOX Networks Group Latin America by The Walt Disney Company, she continued in this role until the company’s operations in Guatemala concluded in February 2020.
She chaired the Intellectual Property Committee of the American-Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) during 2016 and 2017.
She is a certified Arbitrator of Law by the Conflict Resolution Commission of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala (CRECIG), by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and by the University of San Carlos of Guatemala (USAC).
