Matías Noetinger

Experienced IP attorney, specialized in Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, Data protection, Right of Publicity, Sports Law, IP and related Agreements and Contracts.
His firm Noetinger & Armando is a medium sized law firm which provides all type of IP legal and management services in Argentina and the entire Latin American region. They also handle general legal work, including civil, commercial, consumer and labor law.
He is the Treasurer of ASIPI (Interamerican IP Association), which requires a great deal of commitment in a wide variety of issues including the Organization’s administration, program preparation, academic activities, representation of the Organization with international entities and in events. 2021 is his 6th year’s in ASIPI’s Executive Committee. He is also the President of the Argentine Association of IP Agents for 10 years, with active participation in all the matters related to defending the IP Attorney’s profession and the IP in general in Argentina. He has been director, treasurer and VP in previous years.
Mr. Noetinger has been appointed member of the STANDING ADVISORY COMMITTEE BEFORE THE EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE – WORKING PARTY ON QUALITY for the term 2021-2023.
He is also president of St. Brendan’s Rugby Club, competing in all levels at the Buenos Aires Rugby Union with more than 180 registered players, which provides him a great experience in sports management, regulations and solving all kinds of problems. He is the Secretary of the board of the Buenos Aires Rugby Union’s Disciplinary Commission, in which he weekly decide all the sanctions to players and other related issues in this sport.
Keen golfer and surfer, interested not only in its practice but also in the history and activities related to both sports. To this end, he has a radio show in a national station exclusively on golf issues.
