  • 12:00 pm. Departure from the Hotel towards La Central – Turrialba Volcano
  • 1:00 pm. Arrival at La Central (explanation of basic information about the Turrialba Volcano along with the expelled materials that benefit the soil and thus improve milk production)
  • 2:00 p.m. Go down towards Santa Cruz – Turrialba during the tour the observation of different milk production farms is made)
  • 3:30 pm. arrival at ASOPROA where they will be given a brief explanation of the beginning of the process of legalizing the Turrialba Cheese Denomination
  • 4:30 pm. departure from ASORPOA towards Restaurante El Bosque
  • 8:00 pm. leaving the restaurant towards the hotel

June 9

  • 8:00 am. Departure from the Hotel towards Torito de Santa Cruz
  • 8:10 a.m. Arrival at the Cheese Tortillas workshop
  • 8:40 a.m. departure to Finca La Herencia in Torito – Santa Cruz
  • 9:20 a.m. visit and explanation at Finca La Herencia with Denomination of Turrialba Cheese

  • 1:30 p.m. continuation of the visit to Finca La Herencia
