Fernando Becerril

Mechanical-Electrician Engineer from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, joining the firm Becerril, Coca & Becerril in 1990. As of 2001 he was Director of Industrial Property Administration, and since 2009 he joined the Firm as a partner and in 2010 assumed the presidency of the same. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the firm.

He has been involved with processing and consulting on inventions, particularly those that are implemented on a computer, as well as those related to business methods and software for more than 20 years. He has participated as speaker in various forums and seminars related to Information Technology as well as Industrial Property.

He is a member of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), having been Principal Delegate for the period 2009-2012 and 2013-2015, and currently serves as Alternate Delegate.

He was Treasurer and President of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property – AMPPI, Mexican group of the AIPPI of which he is currently Delegate from Mexico and actively participates in many other professional associations related to the subject.
