Lawyer of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá, Colombia and Master of Intellectual Property of the Institute of Munich for Intellectual Property, through the George Washington University of the United States, the Max Planck Institute of Munich, Germany and the Universities of Augsburg and Technological Institute of Munich, Germany. He is also professor of intellectual property at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and also has teaching experience at the Max Planck Institute in Munich, Germany. Likewise, he is an arbitrator in conflicts related to the intellectual property assigned to the Conciliation Centers of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and the National Directorate of Copyright. He is chairman of the Copyright Committee of ASIPI, member of the board of directors of the Colombian Copyright Center and a member of the non-traditional trademark committee of INTA.
Since 2011, he has headed the firm Herrera Díaz Abogados devoted to intellectual property and entertainment law matters.
