Morena joined Arias in 1998 as head of the Department of Intellectual Property and Life Sciences, and became a regional partner in 2000. She has more than 25 years of experience in these areas of practice; With her knowledge and experience, she structured the department in the seven integrated offices in six countries of Central America.
In addition to managing portfolios of Intellectual Property rights of multinational and national companies of wide recognition, has participated in several due diligence processes for international transactions. She also provides advice on technology and innovation.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Salvadoran Association of Intellectual Property (ASPI), secretary of the Committee of Industrial Designs and Trade Dress of the Inter-american Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). She is also an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) as part of the Non-Traditional Trademarks Committee and is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce.
