She has 17 years of experience as director of the legal area of ​​transnational companies, mainly engaged in telecommunications services and information technology, is the Director of Corporate, Legal and Philanthropy Affairs of Microsoft Mexico, S. de R.L. of C.V. since January 2018, in 2013 she joined the company as Legal Director of Licensing and Services. Previously, she was the Legal Director of BT LatAm México, S.A. of C.V. and BTGS México, S.A. of C.V. (British Telecom), subsidiaries of British Telecom plc, one of the largest global companies in the world (presence in more than 190 countries), dedicated to telecommunications and value-added services, a position it covered from 2007 to 2013. Likewise, 1999 to 2007 was legal director of Comsat México, SA de C.V., a subsidiary of Comsat International Inc. (for a time part of Lockheed Martin), a North American company dedicated to satellite communications. Previously, she was a lawyer in the Sub-Directorate of Regulatory Affairs of Teléfonos de México, S.A.B. de C.V., as well as an intern in offices such as De la Peza Abogados, S.C. and Larios and Rodríguez del Bosque, S.C.
Rebeca studied law and specialized in Commercial Law at the Universidad Panamericana. He has teaching experience at the Legal Research Institute of the UNAM and the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico and published the “Satellite Regulation Test” within the work entitled “Telecommunications and Information Technologies: Selected Topics” of the Institute of Legal Research of the UNAM published in 2012.
